This Privacy Policy explains what Royalty Detective ("we," "us") collects on royaltydetective.com and the royalty-detective.pages.dev preview, why, and your choices.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect today

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the form. We do not ask for society passwords, statement uploads, or delegated account access for this product.
3. How we use information
- Run the waitlist and email you about Royalty Ready availability and the plan you marked interest in
- Improve the Site and understand traffic sources
- Prevent spam and abuse (rate limits; honeypot)
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use waitlist data to run royalty audits or recovery claims.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
- Consent: emailing you about Royalty Ready as you agreed
- Legitimate interests: securing the Site, basic analytics of traffic sources
- Steps before a contract: delivering a product you requested when checkout opens
5. Retention
- Waitlist records: kept until you ask us to delete them, or up to 24 months from signup if you never become a customer (then deleted)
- Hashed IP and user agent: cleared after 30 days
- If you become a paying customer, we will publish updated retention terms before collecting payment details
6. Processors
We use Cloudflare (hosting, D1 database, Turnstile). Optional email delivery may use a provider such as Resend when configured. They process data on our instructions.
7. Your choices
Email us to access, correct, or delete your waitlist information. You can withdraw consent for product emails; transactional mail about a purchase you made may still be required by law.
8. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
9. International users
Data may be processed in the United States. If you are in the EEA/UK, you may have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR; contact us to exercise them.
10. Changes and prior audit product
We may update this policy as Royalty Ready evolves. An older draft described statement uploads and an Engagement & Success Fee Agreement for a retired audit/recovery concept. That collection is not part of Royalty Ready. If we ever offer a different product that needs more sensitive data, we will publish a new policy before collecting it and will not rely on this waitlist-only notice alone.
